My husband rocks at cooking. Like really. And when he had to leave on a last minute trip to South Carolina we were sad that we wouldn’t be having his famous chicken tikka masala.
(Previously I have made a vegan version) But we remembered that he’d made a batch of the spice mix already. It was practically fool-proof after that! I gave it a try and it was amazing as usual. 🙂 I should have made a double batch!
Getting out china that was brought over from Japan by Luke’s Grandfather back in the 1950s I believe. Using them for the first time. Along with silver passed down from my Grandmother. Made missing Luke not so hard. Surrounded by family and heirlooms from family. It was a great meal.
And oh yes, it’s all gone. You better believe this is a meal that never lingers in the fridge!
